I'm now in San Francisco, it's quite cold and not at all the California I've grown accustomed to, but it's nice and I like that the streets are smaller. It reminds me of how I always thought Seattle would be.
The New Found Glory show I went to was one of the best I've ever seen. A german guy from my hostel came along too so I had some company.
Yesterday I went to Santa Monica via Venice but didn't get to stay too long because it took ages to get there on the bus and I had to get back to go to the Brian Fallon (gaslight anthem) show that night at Troubadour in West Hollywood.
That show was pretty good, I especially enjoyed the support - Joe Sib (I think that's how it's spelled), he did a Reading from his book "California Calling", which I'll definitely be picking up.
I confused myself on the bus back to Hollywood an ended up almost downtown at 1am which was VERY scary for a few minutes.
I'm going to explore San Francisco tomorrow before leaving for Portland tomorrow night. Tonight, being Saturday I might have a few drinks at the hostel.
